Образ Алиеноры автору удался: яркая личность, умная, независимая, упорная, не чуждая страстей. Людовик у автора вышел прямо шопопало и вызывает желание бить его лопатой. А Генрих Плантагенет изображен упертым, страстным и расчетливым. Все романы, которые Алиеноре приписывали, автор легализировала, и ладно, так веселее. Написано ужасно увлекательно, читается легко и приятно, жезлов мало и в меру. Жаль, что повествование заканчивается сразу после коронации.
