Кино получилось очень проженским, настолько, что я даже не уверена, что местами мужчины смогут понять некоторые нюансы.

Этот прием не нов, мы сто раз его видели в разных фильмах и сериалах, но есть нюанс. Здесь есть то, чего раньше нам не показывали: сцена изнасилования, показанная с точки зрения мужчины и с точки зрения самой женщины. И сделано это настолько гениально, что просто дыбом волосы.
Фильм идет 2,5 часа, но пролетают они незаметно. Здесь есть сражения, показанные кроваво, грязно и физиологично, но есть и много бытовых сценок, каких-то интересных мелких деталей, например, отношений между сюзеренами и вассалами, странноватого поведения короля (Карл 6 позже поехал кукухой) или полностью всратой доктрины о том, что тетка может забеременеть, только испытав оргазм. В общем, это средневековье у Ридли Скотта вышло очень убедительным (можно придираться, но вот совсем не хочется).
Мэтт Деймон в роли пидтоптаного жлобка крайне органичен, Драйвер ну Драйвер (хотя по сюжету там должен быть кто-то красивый). Самый забавный персонаж получился внезапно у Аффлека, но напалмом тут все кино жжОт Джоди Комер, абсолютно гениально сыграно.
