Перед поездкой в Копенгаген я решила почитать книгу, действие которой там происходит. Конечно, это оказался маньяцкий детектив. Но по порядку.
Эстер ди Лауренти живёт в старом доме, который она унаследовала от родителей, в центре Копенгагена. Квартиры сдаёт. Сама она отошла от дел и пытается писать детектив. Отрывки сливает в гугл докс, где у неё группа из нескольких писателей. Одна из квартиранток Эстер жестоко убита, на лице её вырезан странный узор. Самое ужасное, что сцена убийства слизана с детектива Эстер. Следствие ведут двое полицейских. Тётка жрёт, а мужик невыносимо страдает. Его бросила жена из-за невозможности иметь детей, он ест колеса, жизнь говно.
Типичный скандинавский мрачняк автор пытается скрасить тем, что в Копенгагене лето. И это даже немного помогает. А так тлен, говно и каналы.
Перевод ужасен чуть более, чем полностью.
Из скандинавского читала, кроме сказок, только Девушку с татуировкой дракона. Потом смотрела.. Теперь не знаю, сравнится ли кто со Стигом Ларссоном.. жаль дядьку, писал шедевр.
