Лесли мучится отитами, Джерри кашляет, Марго прыщит, и Ларри уговаривает всех перебраться на Корфу, где у Марго проходят прыщи и заводятся кавалеры, Лесли может предаваться охоте, а Джерри отдаться своей страсти – любви к животным. Да простят меня поклонники сериала, но Имельда Стонтон куда лучшая Луиза Даррелл, чем Кили Хоуз, а Джош О’Коннор и Каллум Вудхауз меркнут на фоне Мэттью Гуда и Рассела Тови. Остальные тоже справились, но Омид Джалили в роли Спиро – это просто непрекращающийся визг от смеха. Естественно, никакой нелепой любовной линии в фильме нет. Госпаде, да даже Роджер – какой надо Роджер!
Удалась атмосфера острова и национальные особенности. Но главное, удалось сделать фильм одновременно и дико смешным, и трогательным в конце. Ржала и всхлипывала одновременно.
