Мир упоролся на сериале Игра в кальмара/Squid Game, который уделал по популярности на Нетфликс даже жопу Толстожопа и герцогов не того цвета. Одна женщина с удовольствием бы пропустила корейский сериал про игры на выживание (вдвойне не мое), но один мальчик, следящий за новинками, тоже захотел приобщиться. Пришлось женщине смотреть самой. По итогу просмотра мальчику сериал смотреть можно: примерно в середине первой серии он уже будет крепко спать.

Корея. Нищеебство и голожопие. Кредиты и вечный дождь. Главный герой – лузер, любитель кредитов, игроман, хреновый воскресный папаша, в общем, крайне несимпатичный персонаж. Получив предложение принять участие в турнире за большие деньги, он соглашается, не зная, что проигравших отстреливают. Буквально. Играть же предстоит во всякие детские корейские игры, не знакомые европейскому зрителю и совершенно не увлекательные.

Игр этих довольно мало, и даже кровища (без кишок) не скрашивает соплежевание и драмищу в перерывах. Герои завязывают какие-то отношения и создают союзы, обсуждают, как они дошли до такой жизни, мучаются моральными дилеммами и угрызениями совести, мучая зрителя. Если бы урезать сериал в два раза, он бы только выиграл. Актеры играют по-разному: кто-то убедительно, кто-то чудовищно переигрывая в обычной корейской манере. Персонажи все противные, вообще пофиг, что там с ними случится.

Тема заюзанная до изумления, и в сериале нет ничего нового, сколько уже было подобных сюжетов! Взять хотя бы “Охоту”, которая вышла в прошлом году. Что в сериале хорошо – это музыка и визуал. Символика придумана прикольная и запоминающаяся. Чего все орут в ажитации – я хз.
