Но лопатой все так же хочется почти всех.
Кэрол и Эндрю выросли по соседству и всегда были друг к другу очень привязаны. Она – настоящее наказание господне из маргинальной семьи, живущей на грязнющей ферме. Эндрю – мягкий и милый, из приличной семьи, но на Кэрол у него кинк, хотя они вообще-то даже вместе не спят. После того, как Кэрол случайно сожгла дом Эндрю, терпение его родителей лопается, и они запрещают им видеться. Парочка решает назло врагам пожениться, но подлый папаша Эндрю, презрев врачебную тайну, рассказывает сыну страшный секрет семьи Кэрол.
И понеслось. Двое мучают друг друга и окружающих, все невыносимо страдают в грязище и вечном сезоне говна. Всех, кроме жены Эндрю, мужа Кэрол и еще одной девочки, хочется долго бить лопатой, особенно самих героев. Так что у создателей сериала вполне получилось показать историю не столько роматической, сколько на диво придурочной, собственно, как это и является на самом деле. Непривычно видеть Эрмитейджа в роли доброй сопли (он играет мужа героини), зато гендерный свич нисколько не мешает восприятию.
