Мир же изменился разительно со всеми этими гаджетами, соцсетями и мультинациональностью и мультикультурностью.
Четверо друзей, которые дружат со времён учебы, трое из которых живут в Лондоне. Майя нашла работу в Америке, но остальные друзья не теряют надежды затащить ее к себе. Такой шанс предоставляется, когда Майя приезжает на ДР и свадьбу своей подруги Эйнсли. Майя умудряется по дороге запасть на чувака, который оказался женихом Эйнсли, при том, что в Америке у нее роман с женатым начальником. У Эйнсли свой убыточный дизайнерский магазин, ее жених – пакистанский британец, которому выжирают мозг папаша с имамом, подруга Эйнсли – богатая снобка, остальные все участники тоже со своими дурками: один друг влюблен в Майю, у другого – внебрачный ребенок и девушка – вульгарная дурища. В общем, персонажи все брыллиант.
Отлично в равных пропорциях смешана комедия, драма, сатира (реалити шоу это просто ыыыы!!!), культурные различия между персонажами. Интрига закручена отлично, сюжет совершает неожиданные повороты и эмоционально цепляет. Майю хочется долго и вдумчиво бить головой об мусорку с криками “дракарис”, а вот ее подружка, пожалуй, любимый персонаж. Мужики, кроме пакистанского британца (он унылый) – отличные. Особенно смешной чувак с внебрачным ребенком.
