Причем это второе прикосновение должно произойти не позже, чем через минуту, иначе умрет кто-то рядом. В процессе эксперимента Нед угробил папу девочки-соседки, в которую был влюблен. Прошли годы, Нед стал пирожником и открыл ресторан. Получается у него так себе, потому он подрабатывает на частного детектива, оживляя трупы жертв убийств и задавая им вопросы. Очередным трупом оказывается детская любовь Неда.
Детективная составляющая смешана с мистикой, добавлен асисяй, причем очень трогательный, точнее, не трогательный, трогать как раз нельзя. Но самое главное – картинка. Уже первые кадры навевают воспоминания о “Большой рыбе” Тима Бертона и других его фильмах, причем это касается не только цветопередачи, но и намерено сказочных пейзажей, интерьеров, архитектурных деталей и так далее.
