Фильм основан на романе Дидро и смутно навевает мысли об “Опасных связях”. Некая вдовушка, вся умная, образованная и изысканная, славится своей холодностью. Она никогда не была по-настоящему влюблена. И тут он. Слегка потасканный, немного расхристанный, но маркиз и умный. Они ведут беседы, гуляют в парке, бастионы вдовушки трещат. Репутация у маркиза говно, но вдова решает предаться преступной страсти. И предается целых два года. Потом все, как у Бегбедера: любовь живет три года (ваще-то даже два). Вдова надеялась пережить это достойно, но не может. Ее плющит и таращит. И тут судьба очень кстати подсовывает ей отчаявшуюся женщину благородного происхождения с дочерью на руках.

Какая же прелесть! Так все няшно, красиво, утонченно, изысканно, изящно! Интерьры, шляпки, парки, прогулки и тонкая мстя! Пирдуха и пиршество для глаз. Хорошее настроение обеспечено.
