В рамках заседания исторического кружка и акции “собери Жанну” не без опасений посмотрела сериал “Жанна Д`Арк” (Канада, 1999 год). И выжила! Потому что для меня важнее всего интересная подача материала, а не аутентичность Домреми и правильные стежки на одежде.
Жанна Д’Арк – личность загадочная и легендарная. Она родилась в крошечной деревне Домреми (там и сейчас сто жителей) в простой крестьянской семье. Но очевидцы рассказывали, что она обладала навыками, которыми не могла обладать девушка ее положения. Интриги добавляло то, как покладисто дофин Карл отдал ей управление войсками и как Жанна пошла выигрывать сражение за сржением. Конспирологические теории приписывают ей королевское происхождение: Карл 6, который поехал мозгами, якобы прижил ее от Одетты, тетки, которая за ним присматривала. Это якобы все объясняет. Но создатели сериала пошли другим путем, реалистичным.
Очевидцы рассказывали, что у Жанны и Карла был долгий разговор наедине. И этот разговор показан в сериале. Так родилась легенда Жанны, которая была простой крестьянской девочкой, не обладающей особыми умениями, но способной увлечь за собой силой своей веры. Она стала символом, но фактически все за нее сделали другие, опытные бойцы и военачальники.
Никаких явлений святых и прочих чудес, Жанна верит в них, но зрителю их не показывают. Дофин выведен настоящей гумозиной, ловко использующей людей в своих интересах. Даже Кошон не такая гнида. Сама Жанна показана простой наивной крестьянской девочкой.
В роли дофина отжигает Нил Патрик Харрис, а в роли Кошона – Питер О’Тул. Лили Собески может показаться слишком молодой и простой для этой роли, но вполне справляется. Самая сомнительная селянка получилась из Жаклин Биссе.
Да, Руан не Руан, а Домреми не Домреми, но ху керз? Точно не я.
