С виду Дэниэл – унылый дрищ (у Шаламе это убедительно получилось), не местный и не курортник, дружить с ним никто не хочет. Боооринг. Но тут внезапно его осеняет своей дружбой местный хулиган, бровями и челюстью союзный, с клевой тачкой и ужасной репутацией. Хулиган толкает травку, но Дэниэл оказывается умным и наглым,и вскоре приятели выходят на качественно новый уровень.
Одновременно Дэнни влюбляется в местную роковуху, на которую фапают все местные малолетки. И о чудо, она отвечает взаимностью. Но есть нюанс (спойлер).
Очень скоро выясняется, что Дэнни-то умный, но по сути он наглое, недалекое сцыкло, которого хочется приласкать лопатой.
В общем, отличная драма/триллер и немного комедия, рассказанная в форме городской байки одним из фапающих малолеток. Ностальгия по 90-м непременно замучает. Оказывается, не все тогда было ужасно.
