Далекое будущее, человечество освоило полеты в космос и построило галактическиую империю, которой правит падишах-император. Планета Арракис – это сплошная пустыня, но пустыня очень ценная, там добывают вещество, позволяющее осуществлять космические перелеты. Долгое время планетой управлял дом Харконненов, угнетавших местное население, фременов. Но император передал Арракис другому великому дому, Атридам (все знающие греческую мифологию должны сразу напрячься). Герцог Лето, его сын Пол и его мать, леди Джессика, любовница герцога, прибывают на планету с твердым желанием установить с местными дипломатические отношения, но что-то пошло не так.
Если кратко: это как если бы “Игра Престолов” слилась в объятиях со “Звездными войнами”. Снято невероятно красиво, стильно и грандиозно. Роскошная картинка дополняется мозговыносящим саундтреком (Циммер превзошел сам себя, последний раз меня так вдавливало музыкой в стульчик от его же саундтрека в Начале). Смотреть это, конечно, нужно на большом экране, смело можно в 2 дэ и смело же можно смотреть тем, кто не читал и не смотрел фильм Линча, по сюжету нет вопросов, все понятно.
Крошка Персик Тимоти Шаламе прекрасен, как сверхновая, и так же прекрасно играет нежного пацана, который в начале фильма мучается от снов и говорит папе нихачу, а на протяжении фильма взрослеет на глазах. Папенька Скарсгард (барон Харконнен) рыхл более обычного (я не могла не пошутить эту шутку), страшон и отвратителен до дрожи в коленках. Момоа играет Момоа и отлично вписывается, Ребекка Фергюссон чрезвычайно убедительна в роли леди Джессики, Оскар Айзек прекрасен, как рассвет, Бролин, Бардем, Зендайя, Дейв Батиста – все на месте и все хороши. Но Персик, Персик!!! У нас прямо на глазах родилась и выросла звезда. Все в кино, роняя тапки и всякие жидкости организма.
