Суперстар: фильм Байрон

В 19 веке Европу загребло романтизмом и готикой. Отстраивали старые замки, достраивали соборы, в моду прочно вошёл мрачный и загадочный герой мандострадатель, от которого многие тетки до сих пор верещат. Байрон приложил к этому руку непосредственно, придумав своего Чайльд Гарольда. После выхода книги Байрон проснулся знаменитым и в полном изумлении: по его словам, он сам не понял, от чего все шизнулись. В фильме “Байрон” 2003 года собраны всякие слухи и мифы о Байроне и выданы за правду.

Пособив грекам немного бороться за независимость, как это было тогда модно, лорд Байрон возвращается в Англию. Там кисло и чопорно. Но после появления на свет книги все буквально едут крышей: женщины кричат ура и бросают в воздух предметы туалета, все на Байрона вешаются и приписывают ему черты его героя, многочисленных любовниц и разгульный образ жизни. Киношный Байрон не стесняется и трахает все, что сопит. В перерывах мучается от отсутствия денег и экзистенциальных кризисов. А любит все это время свою единокровную сестру. По этому поводу до сих пор спорят, но в кино все однозначно: даже один из ее детей от Байрона. Ну а чё такого, они вообще уже взрослые познакомились, и у них духовная близость. Зрителя Игры Престолов таким не прошибешь.

Леди Кэролайн Лэмб (племянница герцогини Девонширской из фильма Герцогиня и жена лорда Мельбурна из сериала Виктория), которая шизнулась на Байроне чуть более, чем полностью, в фильме показана вздорной, ревнивой стервой, а его жена – унылой жабой.

Байрона играет ещё красивый Джонни Ли Миллер, который очень естественно причитает, что жизнь говно. У создателей фильма так и вышло: жизнь у лорда говно, любил он только одну тётку, с которой не мог быть вместе из-за унылого английского общества. Чё им, жалко что ли. Как ни странно, кино довольно атмосферное и вызывает желание посмотреть ещё что-то такое.
