Люблю сериалы про ужасы родительства и смешные, и серьезные. Британский сериал “Бабочка” (Butterfly) 2018 года, всего на 3 серии, едва не прошел мимо меня. Скучный синопсис, как обычно, не передает накала страстей и драмы, которые скрываются внутри.
В семье Даффи двое детей: девочка … и еще девочка, потому что их сын Макс некомфортно чувствует себя в теле мальчика. Сначала родители закрывают на это глаза, потом отца семейства начинает бомбить. Вплоть до того, что он уходит из дома в типичной для многих мужчин манере. Но приезжает на выходные общаться с детьми. Макс/Максин боится отца, не хочет его огорчать, но более всего хочет, чтобы родители были вместе. Для этого он готов играть в футбол и строить из себя мальчика. Но приближается время пубертата, тело ребенка начинает меняться, и ситуация становится критической.
Мать в конце концов принимает сторону ребенка и готова на все, но отца продолжает пучить. Хотя он тоже старается и даже возвращается в семью.
Очень трогательная история о муках выбора и принятии собственного ребенка, которая смотрится на одном дыхании: тут тебе и развод, и травля в школе, и отношения с старшей сестрой, и бабушка, которую тоже пучит, и органы опеки, и даже уголовное дело.
Все сыграли хорошо, но мальчик (а главную роль играет именно мальчик) – совершенно великолепен.
