И препоручил заботам своего дяди, Уильяма Мюррея, графа Мэнсфилда. Мюррей тожеоказался приличным человеком. Он растил Белль вместе со второй своей племянницей, дал девочкам хорошее образование. Но Белль не вывозили в общество и не особо показывали ее гостям. В фильме это трактется, как забота: дядя и тетя любили девочку и не хотели чтобы ее унизили.
Возникла парадоксальная ситуация: у Белль было состояние, но был не тот цвет кожи, а у ее кузины Элизабет с кожей было в порядке, но не было денег. Но тут на горизонте очень кстати замаячили братья Эшфорд, кторым очень были нужны деньги.
Братьев играют Том Фелтон и Джеймс Нортон, потому сразу можно догадаться, кто из них говнюк.
В правильных пропорциях смешали личную драму, асисяй и социальную драму. Полуилось красивое кино с платтячкми, которое приятно смотреть, но есть и над чем подумать.
