Расследование ведет тот самый детектив, который раньше жил в Британии, а теперь вернулся на родину. В Британии случилась Трагедия, отголоски которой иногда показывают флэшбэками, снами или глюками. В наличии также конфликт с напарником. Пока они друг на друга сопят, находится еще одна жертва. Чувак еще жив, но во рту у него зашит язык предыдущей жертвы. Все сомнения немедленно отпадают, особенно, когда маняк связывается с полицией и сообщает: я буду маньячить!
Зритель робко надеется на обычного сексуального маньяка, которого властная мать заставляла держать руки поверх одеяла, но где там: посредством флэшбэков в 17 век нам намекают на то, что дервиши крутились не просто так. Получился очень неплохой маньяцкий сериал, сделанный по всем канонам жанра, в меру мрачный, атмосферный, с турецким колоритом, но без пафоса, соплей и затянутости турецких же мыльных опер. Вместо красивых бураков тут красивый Кенан Имирзалыоглу, что особенно приятно – без своих обычных усов.
