Герои сериала – не преступники, не уголовники, не хулиганы и не какие-то моральные уроды. Они – обычные люди, которые волей случая, стечения обстоятельств или даже чьего-то злого умысла попали на скамью подсудимых. В начале каждой серии этого человека показывают зрителям, середину занимает его/ее история, а финал – это оглашение присяжными вердикта. Создателям сериала удалось создать такие образы, которые эмоционально очень трогают и не сопереживать совершенно невозможно: мужик, который стал жертвой банкротства друга, парень, который случайно оказался в армии, мать, сын которой погиб на работе, женщина, у которой возник конфликт с мужем из-за детей и так далее.
В сериале куча известых актеров, в том числе Шон Бин-тетка, через фотку которого я и нашла сериал. Правда, его серию я еще не посмотрела, боюсь, вся изведусь от переживаний. Серии можно смотреть в произвольном порядке, они не связаны.
