Нельзя просто приехать в Германию и духовно не обогащаться. Изначально для духовного обогащения я присмотрела другой город, но потом на глаза попался Хаттинген.
Средневековый Хаттинген – это целых три замка и целая куча восхитительно кривого фахверка. Старый центр городка небольшой, но в нем целых 143 фахверковых домика 15-17 веков.
В отличие от многих других немецких городов, он почти не пострадал во время войны, разрушили буквально пару домов. Кроме домиков, здесь есть старая ратуша и церква святого Георгия с кривым шпилем.
Все русскоязычные статьи утверждают, что это небрежность строителей, но поверить в небрежность немецких строителей невозможно. И таки да – на церкви написано, что это был дер план.
Площадь, на которой стоит церква, окружена старыми домиками с цветочками и очень уютна. Внутри церква не представляет собой ничего интересного, снаружи намного внушительнее.
Буквально в 10 минутах езды от старого города – замок Кемнаде, который на фотках в интернете выглядел очень скромно, а на деле оказался здоровенным замком, со рвом, заросшим ряской.
Замок в отличном состоянии, внутри рестораны, постоялый двор и небольшая экспозиция. Последние владельцы замка в 1921 году продали его городу. Совсем рядом с ним – замок Бланкенштайн, история которого тесно связана с третьим замком, Изенбург.
Хозяин Изенбурга, Фридрих фон Изенбург, разосрался с архиепископом Кельна и убил его. За это его казнили, а замок разрушили. Его сын, Дитрих, положил жизнь на то, чтобы вернуть себе замок. Но это удалось только на короткое время – новый злобный архиепископ Кельна не спал. Сейчас от Изенбурга остались одни крайне живописные и облагороженные развалки, куда нужно долго лезть снизу. На развалках построен очень колоритный гостевой дом.
Но все портит инсталляция, убедительно изображающая казнь несчастного Фридриха.
Бланкенштайн построил новый владелец этих земель, граф Маркский, собственно, название так и переводится – чистый камень.
Сейчас в замке ресторан, во рву живут олени, а с башни открываются дивные виды.
