Мимо детективного сериала “Ривер”/River я имела все шансы пройти. Ну серьезно: детектив, который видит призраков, какая пошлятина. Но зацепил актерский состав. Людей же, которые пишут синопсисы традиционно надо сжечь и обосцать. Или наоборот.
Детектив Ривер за годы честной службы не нажил ни семьи, ни друзей, только сослуживцев, хорошую репутацию и напарницу, с которой он работал душа в душу. С ней Ривер даже становится похож на человека, поет и улыбается. Правда, напарница, с которой он задорно поет в самом начале (и тут сериал сразу цепляет зрителя на крючок), оказывается мертвой, ее убили у него на глазах. Но то, что он видит, как и другие “призраки”, на самом деле не имеет отношение к потустороннему.
6 серий Ривер занят тем, что раскрывает это дело, узнавая все новые факты о человеке, которого, вроде бы, очень хорошо знал. Попутно он узнает кое-что новое о себе и раскрывает другие дела.
Это ужасно грустный сериал. Не мрачный, как скандинавские, не угнетающий атмосферой и белым говном. Эта драма об одиночестве и потере с сильной детективной составляющей. Некоторые моменты трогают до слез и удержаться от этих самых слез совершенно невозможно. А “рыхлый серый скандинав” Стеллан Скарсгард играет буквально на разрыв. Пару на экране ему составляет великолепная Никола Уокер. Отлично сыграли Лесли Менвилл ) да где она плохо сыграла?), Эдди Марсан (от его персонажа просто мурашки ужаса), Оуэн Тил и Сорша Кьюсак. Пожалуй, один из лучших детективов, которые я когда-либо смотрела.
