В какой-то момент своей жизни я бросила читать Кинга, потому что он стал как-то подгружать. Но его новый роман “Позже” – такой типичный старый Кинг, который читается быстро и легко, пугает в меру и не вызывает желания удавиться.
Мальчик среднего мальчукового возраста (еще не подросток, но уже не пуголовок) Джейми Конклин си дед пипл, натурально. Он видит мертвых людей, и это не плод его воображения. Его мама, литературный агент, об этом знает, но они стараются особо это не обсуждать. Пока работа мамы не оказывается в конской жопе.
Как для Кинга, очень добрая и почти не противная книга, можно даже жрать за едой без потребности блевануть. Страшно не особо, потому что прямо в лоб: вот они, дед пипл, совсем дед. Они больше вызывают жалость, чем страх. Понравились персонажи и их развитие и понравились почти здоровые отношения мамы с сыном. В общем, Кинг еще совершенно торт, чтоб он нам был здоровенький.
