И ведет себя при этом, как в последний день Помпеи.
Надо понимать, что герой – редкое чмо, который только воздух коптит. Выполняет какие-то мелкие поручения своего босса, отсидел, тетка от него сбежала, потому что бил. Даже собаки нет или там котика. Но он же думает, что у него Хрень, и это толкает его на странные поступки. Попав в засаду в доме, куда его отправили в поручением, он всех убивает, но зачем-то тащит с собой молоденькую проститутку, оказавшуюся в сложной ситуации. Решив совершить в жизни напоследок хоть что-то хорошее, он даже собирается о ней своеобразно позаботиться, получилось так себе.
То, что начинается, как заурядный боевик, становится криминальной драмой, причем до біса грустной. В общем, это неудивительно, потому что фильм по сценарию Ника Пиццолатто, человека, который стоял за первым сезоном “Настоящего детектива”. Режиссер – Мелани Лоран, я даже не знала, что она снимает фильмы.
Эль Фаннинг, оказывается, умеет так рыдать, что тяжело удержаться и не начать рыдать с ней хором. Собственно, у меня и не получилось.
