На днях стало известно, что вездесущий Netflix готовит экранизацию – в виде мини-сериала. О касте пока ничего не известно. Производством займется компания 21 Laps (“Очень странные дела”, “Прибытие”).

“Как мы называем видимый свет? Мы называем его цветами. Однако электромагнитный спектр начинается от ноля и продолжается до бесконечности, так что на самом деле, дети, количественно весь свет — невидимый.” – это отрывок из передачи, которую слушают Вернер и его сестра Ютта, живущие в детском доме в промышленном районе Германии. Радио Вернер собрал сам. Но на шахте, где ему предстоит работать, его таланты не нужны. Он не хочет погибнуть на шахте, как его отец. Но выбор у него невелик, и он поступает в военную школу, Рейху нужны таланты.
А в Париже живет Мари-Лора, отец которой работает в музее естествознания. Она стремительно слепнет, и однажды свет в ее глазах окончательно меркнет. Тогда ее отец мастерит из дерева модель их района, чтобы научить Мари-Лору ориентироваться. Но тут начинается война, мир рушится, Мари-Лора с отцом бегут из Парижа. Они должны не только спастись сами, но и спасти бриллиант Море Огня, на котором по легенде лежит проклятие.
