Создатели сериала решили повыдрючиваться модным нелинейным повествованием, потому те, кто не читал, в начале могут немного запутаться. Первых пару серий отданы на откуп коросте и они достаточно противные и пугающие, некоторые моменты просто блевательные, видно, что старина Кинг был где-то неподалеку (добавьте соплей, ребятки!)
Актерский состав просто отличный, мне лично не помешали ни неправильные волосы Надин, ни Ларри не того цвета, это на сюжет не влияет никак вообще. Флэгг у Сашка Скарсгарда получился ровно тот, что в книге: веселое, но пугающее зло (при чтении тяжело было представить, но на экране идеально, не удивлюсь, если он читал книгу). Преставители зла вообще чудо как хороши: сцыкливо-гнуный Ллойд Ната Вулфа, истерично-двинутый Мусорщик Эзры Миллера, развеселая Джули Кэтрин Макнамары, склизкий Гарольд Оуэна Тига, примороженная Надин Эмбер Херд. Вообще очень понравилось, как показано зло: оно не должно быть нудным и страшным, как в романе, оно должно быть притягательным и соблазнительным.
Добро более скучное, но там тоже старались. Фрэнни, которую играла Одесса Янг, вышла менее бесящая, чем в романе, а Стю у Марсдена – более интересным, чем книжный.
Последняя серия, которую ругали как лишнюю, вообще отлично зашла, потому что страшная, шо капец. И красивая :))
