Я задумалась. Но Патрик Демпси. Но хедж-фонды. Но Ларс Миккельсен. Но финансовый кризис. Но Алессандро Борги. Но шортить!! Короче, шортить я не только не научилась, но даже не поняла, что это. А сериал всосала с космической скоростью.
Массимо Руджеро трудится в лондонском отделении очень крутого американского банка начальником отдела трейдинга. Он на хорошем счету у СЕО, Доминика Моргана, и даже состоит с ним в чем-то вроде дружеских отношений. Правда, банкиры похожи на людей еще меньше, чем юристы, потому дружба эта условная. Тем более, что Массимо чувак очень своевольный, хотя и дико талантливый и способен намутить бабла на ровном месте. Но тут происходит печалька: Доминик не повышает его по службе, хотя обещал. А мужика, который должен был получить эту должность, очень удачно роняют с балкончика. Задумчиво рассмотрев мозги соперника, разлетвшиеся по вестибюлю, Массимо приходит к неутешительному выводу: происходит какое-то говно.
Даже если в не знаете, что такое шортить, – это нисколько не мешает просмотру. Если вы верите в заговор финансовых корпораций, у вас ипотека, а банки вы ненавидите – этот сериал для вас. Да и вообще для любителей хорошей драмы, густо замешанной на триллере. Наблюдать за игрищами трех хитрющих мужиков, гадать кто кого сборет и удастся ли кому-то из них остаться человеком, очень увлекательно. Мужики, кстати, прекрасны оба три. Впрочем, тетки в сериале тоже есть и тоже хорошие, интересные и важные для сюжета.
Патрик Демпси натуральный шайтан. Ах как он хорош в роли дьявола и одновременно любящего супруга! Итальянец Алессандро Борги сущая дуся и даже умудряется на фоне Демпси не особо потеряться. Миккельсен зловещ и зловещ.
