Для просмотра свеженького сериала “Становясь богом в центральной Флориде” (On Becoming a God in Central Florida) этого самого чувства понадобится тонна. Потому что на экране происходит сплошной анальный карнавал (тм) Чего только стоит сцена, в которой под детский стульчик натекает огромная лужа кровищи, а героиня истерически орет “ччччеррт!”
Кристал, прагматичной молодой женщине, не повезло – она вышла замуж за восторженного идиота. Она – скептик, он – мечтатель. Ее на мякине не проведешь, он верит в любую хрень. В результате Кристал убивается на работе в аквапарке, а муж, наслушавшись тренингов, решает примкнуть к системе сетевого маркетинга. Правда, с основной работы он не ушел, потому зашивается, без устали вербуя других несчастных и втюхивая всем подряд мыло и бумажные полотенца. У Кристал, конечно, дергается глазик, но пока она даже не представляет, насколько все запущено и закозявлено. И насколько все станет еще хуже в ближайшее время.
Особенно смешно это будет смотреть тем, кто хоть раз сталкивался с сетевым маркетингом: натурально религиозная секта. Глаза блестят, все верят в то, что скоро станут миллионерами (вона сколько уже стали) и втюхивают без устали. Добавьте к этому безумные повороты сюжета и кошмарные моды 90-х. Без пресловутого чувства абсурда может прийтись тяжело.
Кирстен Данст делает хорошо все, за что берется. Эта роль не исключение. И после этого сериала я, пожалуй, запишусь в фанаты. Александр Скарсгард уже на промо-фотках пугал своим внешним видом и выражением лица до полного выпадения глаз. И роль восторженного идиота удалась ему на славу (кто бы сомневался). Хочется заорать “верую в амвей”, а потом ввалить персонажу коробкой зубной пасты прямо по пустой голове.
